I didn’t have a wedding to attend last Saturday, and was looking forward to spending the weekend driving to London, stopping off en route to visit friends and family. Of course, my old life as a newspaper photographer had to intrude when the Mail on Sunday asked me to photograph Uri Geller as he visited the island he owns off the beach in North Berwick:
