Colette and Matthew’s Glasgow wedding
The rain gods were obviously shining on Colette and Mathew’s big day, as it rained everywhere except on them! Which was just as well as Matthew had an open top E-Type Jag to drive his bride from the church in Bellshill to their reception at 29 Exchenge Square in Glasgow.
It was more than a wedding though – it was also a goodbye, as after their honeymoon in Dubai, they’re heading straight to work in Brisbane for six months!

I’m still working my way through the photographs I took at Sarah and Fraser’s wedding last Friday, but I’ve already had a lovely email from them:

The Best of 2009
Not necessarily the best wedding photos of last year – but 25 of my favourites.
They all sum up my style of wedding photography: unobtrusive, unposed and unique!
Rosie and Sandy’s wedding
It always helps when I have a smiling bride, and Rosie was certainly that – even though her Dad did his best to embarrass her in his speech. And then the Best Man sang his speech – A Boy Named Sandy, to the tune of Johnny Cash’s A Boy Named Sue. It certainly made for a different first dance!
It was a day full of laughter, from the minister leaving her mic on while chatting to Rosie before the ceremony, to the speeches, to the exuberant dancing. There’s more photos to see on this page.
Nancy and Stephen’s wedding at Glasgow University
Nancy and Stephen got married in the magnificent Glasgow University Chapel, on a bright and sunny summer’s day. Nancy, from California, had friends and family from the States travel over, while Stephen’s family provided the Scottish element.
As the afternoon drew to a close, the wedding party moved to from the glorious quadrangles and cloisters to the dazzling Bute Hall for dinner and, as usual, enthusiastic ceilidh dancing!
