Glenbervie Wedding Photography

What could possible go wrong at a meticulously planned wedding? Well – violent thunderstorms didn’t help, neither did roadworks due to something called a ‘bridge inspection.’ Nor did a chauffeur who didn’t know where he was going! To add insult to injury, with the whole wedding running late, the two coach drivers who were transporting all the guests announced that they couldn’t hang around as they had to do a school run!

Stuart and Elaine took all this in their stride, and with plenty of humour. And by the time we got back to Glenbervie House (who were totally unfazed by everyone’s late arrival) the rain had stopped and we finally got some outdoor photos.

And from then on it was an evening of celebration and dancing – as any wedding should be!

There’s a small selection here, and many more on the order photos page.

Gleneagles wedding photography

Alex and Robert had a perfect wedding day! A beautiful church in Auchterarder with a lovely relaxed ceremony; the stunning Gleneagles hotel with it’s fine food, champagne and staff; and they even managed to persuade the sun to come out for a little while, keeping it a non-rainy wedding.

There were funny speeches (there were also two best men!) followed by a first dance accompanied by the famous Gleneagles ‘glitter drop.’ Callanish, one of my favourite bands, provided the music for the rest of the evening.

As usual you can see more of Alex and Robert’s Gleneagles wedding photos via the order prints page.

Amanda and Gordon’s wedding at Gleneagles.

Summer finally arrived at Amanda and Gordon’s wedding at Gleneagles earlier this month. Who’d have thought it could be quite so hot in April in Perthshire?

The ceremony and meal was held in the Glendevon room – famous for hosting the G8 leaders for their meeting a few years ago – while the evening’s dancing was held in the spectacular ballroom.

Here are a few photos to wet your appetite, and there’s more to see on the order prints page.

My favourite 20 photos of 2010

These are actually my favourite expressions from last year’s wedding photography. My photography is all about seeing the moment and capturing it – whether it’s the bride’s father’s nervousnous, a Gay Gordons heading for impact, the delight in a couple eyes, or the happiness expressed by their guests.

Rachel and Calum’s wedding photography at the Crieff Hydro

Rachel and Calum’s wedding plans were well advanced when, with 7 weeks to go, their venue announced that the renovations wouldn’t be completed in time for their ceremony! A hurried search found them another venue – the Crief Hydro.
I’d never been there before, but an hour spent wandering around on the morning of the wedding made me realise what a fantastic place they’d found. Coupled with the most helpful and attentive staff, the day was sure to be a huge success.
And it was! The only problem was Megan, the ultra-cute 7 year old flower girl, whose antics on the dance floor put everyone else to shame!
There’s a few photos here, and you can see more wedding photos via the order prints page.
