The Royal College of Physicians is one of my favourite venues in Edinburgh, since the architecture is so fantastic. When you add a stunning bride and groom into the location – it just makes my job easier! Louise and David had a great day at the college for their wedding. David is vice President of the college and Louise sits on the committees, so it was a fitting venue for them and their guests.
There were 24 children (I was told – they were permanently on the move, so it was difficult to count!) four of whom made delightful bridesmaids. And in the evening everyone joined in the ceilidh, dancing along to music from the Belle Star Band.
The photo of the sticker on the inside of the violin case? Well, you’d have to have been there, listening to the Best Man’s speech!

I don’t always mind what the weather’s doing, when I have such a superbly lit location as St Michael’s Church in Limlithgow to photograph a wedding ceremony.
