Wedderburn Castle

Edinburgh wedding photographer – the look of love

I’ve updated the wedding gallery on this web site, and it now contains my favourite wedding photographs from this year, all showing ‘the look of love’ in it’s many interpretations.
There’s a few other behind the scenes changes as well – so if you spot any errors or problems, please let me know. And extra points if you can add a comment naming any of the venues featured. As a clue, I can tell you that they’re in Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Borders and the Highlands.
Here’s a taster – there are a few¬†here and many more on the wedding gallery page.

Wedderburn Castle wedding photographer

What a perfect Saturday for a wedding at Wedderburn Castle. The sun shone, but not too hotly, the clouds came and went without dropping any rain, and Ashleigh and Ross got married surrounded by their family and friends.
Add to the mix two young and very cute bridsemaids, the beautiful relaxed setting of the castle and it’s interior, enthusiastic dancing in the evening, and it all added up to a perfect day!
As usual, you can see more photos by clicking on this link to the ‘order photos’ page.

Favourite Wedding Venues Wedderburn Castle

Wedderburn Castle, in the Scottish Borders near Duns, is one of my favourite venues to visit. It’s not just the stately building, the magnificent rooms and grounds. There’s also a lovely feeling to the place, of relaxation and care. Not to mention the food! They are one of the few venues I know that employ their own chef. No matter how large or small the wedding party, or whatever the weather throws at you, there’s plenty of scope for some wonderful wedding photography.
Ashleigh and Ross have just booked me to photograph their wedding there in June – but they live in Hong Kong and haven’t even visited Wedderburn. So while we can meet over a Skype call, I thought they might like to see a few photographs that show off the place!
