The photo below has just won third
prize in the Internationally prestigious Wedding Photojournalist
Associations competition! It’s from Gemma and George’s wedding in
Orkney earlier this year, and is of George’s brother, father and
mother. I only entered 4 photos, so it’s quite a result!
JUDGES COMMENTS: A perfect moment. Much implied, but you dont have to show more than the reactions. This image simply grabs your attention, just as the woman in the bathrobe did to the two men in kilts. It holds your wonder and begs you to speculate as to the nature of the humorous exposure. Is she too wearing a kilt?
