I can recommend cheaper photographers, but for what you are getting with Simon, it really is good value for money. For his fee, he is there all day meaning you capture your guests enjoying themselves in the evening as well as through the day. Simon is a great photographer to choose when having footage that goes on into later in the day, because having a background in photojournalism, he is superb at catching things as they happen and taking good 'unposed' natural looking photos. You will find a lot of so-called reportage photographers out there, but they aren't. They still pose you a lot and their reportage work is a bit hit and miss. The cheaper ones also don't stay as long, so you have to balance that up as well. They also look cheaper, but they make up for it in the prices they charge for prints

Photos are the lasting memory you will have of the day and is really worth investing in. Save money on the cake, cut down on the flowers, but not the photos - that would be my recommendation.

Photos all received and they are fantastic. Thank you so much - I have forgotten so much of the day already and the photos bring it all back.

The surprise is excellent. It is lovely to have the black and white prints, but the (edited to maintain the surprise!) is great too. We want to put lots of pictures up on a gallery wall so having these is amazing.

Alison and Simon, Edinburgh, Scotland - February 21st 2009

Your photos of Alison & Simon are just beautiful - the bride especially is just glowing. The pics of the wee flower girls brought tears to my eyes and your record of the evening is superb. Well done - you have a great talent.

amazing wedding photos from nicest wedding photographer in Glasgow
Hi Simon,

The photos came Thursday morning, as promised - and wow, they are amazing - thank you so much! We absolutely love every one of them! (I'm impressed that you got such good pictures of the children by the way) And the suprise (edited to keep it a surprise!) was lovely too. :)

We're copying discs for all the bridal party and sending around the link to your site with our pictures - it's very handy!

Thanks also for your great work (and your help!) on the day - everyone was saying that you were the nicest photographer and we agree.

We're so glad you were able to do our wedding!

Many thanks,

amazing, hilarious, brilliant photo from wedding photographer near Aberdeen
Dear Simon,

I just had a look on your website and saw that the photos were up. Thanks so much they look amazing, and some of them are hilarious! The one of the little girl (Ellie) sleeping on the sofa is just brilliant. Coming from someone who hates getting her photo taken and was considering not having a photographer I am so glad we did, they are better than I expected.

(and later, having received all their photographs:)

Thank you so much for the photos, they are amazing and capture the day (and all the emotions) perfectly! I really like the black and white prints they have come out really well. The hard part will be deciding what we want to do with them all and picking which ones we want to print. The surprise was brilliant, it is such a nice idea and not something I have seen before either.

I didn't expect the CD with the photos on to come in such a nice presentation box or for it to be printed so that was a nice extra as well.

Thanks again, we really do love the photos, I think we'll be spending all weekend going through them picking out our favourites!

Best Wishes

Dear Simon,

What can I say… The photos are absolutely fantastic!

I cannot thank you enough, not just for the photos (which were beautifully packaged, and the surprise gift which was an absolute treat) – but for everything else you did on the day – like organising my hilarious but unruly bridal party… getting the timing just right… and joining in with the fun at the same time as capturing all these treasured memories.

The photos perfectly capture the atmosphere all day and night… I love them so much that I wish you could have every single one on your website so that everyone can see what a fantastic day was had by all (…and what a marvellous job you did, of course!) You really were terrific from start to finish… and you even had to make breakfast for the Bridesmaids (hung-over) husbands (for which they were very grateful).

Thank you again… and see you next year at my brother's wedding!

Cheers

Each beautiful wedding photograph tells a story
Dear Simon,

This is let you know how pleased Sheila and I are with the photographs for Clare and Marcus' wedding. We are delighted with the results. They are far finer than we ever expected. We particularly like the informal shots, whether portraits, small groups or ceilidh dancing. Each one tells a story. Many are beautiful. I am sure that Clare and Marcus will also be thrilled with your work.

Many thanks

Thank you so much for the photos which we received last week. They are absolutely fantastic and your thoughtful addition of the (deleted to retain the surprise!) was a lovely surprise. We can't stop looking through them all and it has been great to see all the extra images on the cd.

Your help to Caroline on the day was really appreciated and so many of our guests have complimented you to us on your approach on the day and of course the images afterwards. It has been great to hear so many positive comments.
