It is my goal to tell the story of your wedding day. I focus on your wedding using my documentary and photojournalist photography skills to capture the moments and expressions of your day, as they happen. I do not dictate them to you!
Whether I am photographing your wedding or your portrait, my approach is the same. I believe that reality has its own beauty and art. I work in a very low key fashion with the minimum of fuss. I observe rather than organise, producing a set of photographs that are neither staged nor fussy, but that capture the real story and atmosphere of your wedding (or of you or your children) in a candid and honest way.
Of course, some time must be spent on organising and taking the traditional family group photos at a wedding, and portraits of the bride and groom, but I like to keep these to a minimum and always try to take a group photo of everyone.
I am based in North Berwick and Oxford, and so am ideally situated to work at any venue in the UK.
