There’s a unique atmosphere about weddings at Glencorse House. It may be the team that work there to make every wedding run so smoothly, or it may just be Paul’s catering skills! More likely it’s the setting, hidden away from the outside world yet just minutes from Penicuik and Edinburgh. I believe that it’s unique in the Lothians in that it has it’s own church on site, a gem of a building that Robert Louis Stevenson visited, worshipped at, and wrote about: “”If my spirit returns to earth it will be found wandering through Glencorse Woods or sitting on the old bridge at Glencorse Kirk, the finest spot on earth”.
