I’ve just been awarded a 7th place in the latest WPJA awards. This doesn’t sound much (seventh???) but it’s rather amazing, simply because of the very high quality of competition from the many thousands of Wedding Photojournalist Association’s members, from all over the world. You can see all the winning entries on the WPJA web site. Mine was in the ‘weather’ section, and is of Tamsin’s arrival at St. Giles Cathedral, in Edinburgh. The judges comment was nice too: “Smart to pay attention to the reflection in situations like these. Emphasizing the wet ground and focusing on the reflection is a refreshing way of reading the scene. Nice job.”
