This wasn’t the first wedding I’ve photographed this year, but it’s the first one I’ve posted here. (Some people don’t want their photos anywhere on the web, often for very good reasons!)
Lorraine and David got married in the beautiful church of St John’s, at the west end of Princes Street in Edinburgh. While their guests were taken on a sightseeing tour of the city I took the newly married couple up to The Royal Mile for a quick photo session (accompanied by the cheers and applause of the tourists!)
Then we headed back to the splendour of The Balmoral Hotel and it’s rather chilly roof, before re-joining their guests for champagne and canapés, accompanied by the smooth sounds of John Tullis and his jazz band. Callanish played their usual brilliant ceilidh music, as well as some popular covers, and by the time I left, the party was well under way!
